About
CCR is part of the world top 30 of reinsurers and takes part in covering missions related to natural disasters. CCR is wholly owned by the French state for whom it manages public funds.

Problem
CCR has a functioning but outdated UI and UX that was in dire need of work.
I was brought on the project to correct and update pre-existing Figma designs that were left unusable by months of back to back rounds of feedback. I worked for a total of 3 weeks on this project to clean, rework and bring a coherent branding to more than 40 pages.

Solution
With the nature of CCR's mission, the tiniest mistake on the site can have huge repercussions as it deals with natural disasters and insurance for companies that ultimately use this information to insure the average Joe like you and me. In short, there is no room for errors of any kind and the focus must be on clarity and reliability.
With a website as big and complex as CCR's you need to make sure that any and all information is clear, understandable and easy to access. You need a clear path for the user and an incentive to stay on some very text heavy pages. This led me to create some infographics that seamlessly integrate into the text, new icons to illustrate content and a comprehensive guide on font hierarchy to be sure that the user stays focused, engaged and knows exactly where they are at all times.
